Achievements: I made a significant contribution to the improvement of communications, engagement and customer service through the provision, rewriting and restructuring of online content. My work contributed to a dramatically improved user experience and increased traffic to Pittwater Council website and transforming it from being a reflection of Council internal departments and their services into a user- focused web resource with structure and information meaningful to the user.

I identified major accessibility and usability issues in the Council’s website. A content audit highlighting editorial issues. Analytics and user feedback showed that people were having significant difficulty using the website — it was failing to meet its business objectives and user needs. I determined the style, mapped user behaviors, incorporated user feedback into the design process, established interaction patterns and flows.
